Average Rating

Following in the Fast Facts format, this is 10 chapters packed with wonderful nuggets of knowledge to inform and equip the reader with the latest in prostate cancer ... barely a word is wasted ... the prose flows in an easy style that makes this a ready travelling companion or a stop-gap for a quiet moment in theatre. ... a handy little book that will, I am sure, largely achieve its aims of equipping non-specialists and specialists alike with a broad overview of the main facts of prostate cancer. It rather resembles a ‘ fireside chat ’ in that the reader should not expect rigorous and referenced detail, but instead a masterly overview of the situation ... I found Fast Facts: Prostate Cancer easy to read …and understand …and logically organized. I was particularly impressed by the diagrams and the (helpful) chapter summaries. Chapters (4 and 5) on prognosis and management are especially good.
