I strongly recommend this book as a resource for the busy healthcare professional, both during their training and in practice. It would be a valuable asset for medical students and residents trying to learn about pancreatic and biliary tract diseases during their training. I think it is a wonderful addition to the literature in a number of ways. It is concise and thought through. The graphics are especially helpful. The information is succinct - and yet presented in a very integrated manner. This is a well-written, easy to read, quick reference to diseases of the pancreas and biliary tract for physicians in training or general practitioners. The quality of the illustrations and tables is very good, enhancing the learning experience. Some of the topics are explained in a very simple but complete way, making it a very good source of reference. This book provides expert and clear guidance on the diagnosis and management of the disorders that affect these systems and is an invaluable addition to the reference resources of the primary care team, for nurses in practice and in training and those who teach.
