MEET THE AUTHOR

Mehul Mehta, PhD, is the Director of the Division of Clinical Pharmacology I (DCP I) at the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) of the United States Food and Drug Administration. With a PhD in Pharmacokinetics at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Mehta has over 20 years of research experience. He is the Co–chair of the Biopharmaceutics Classification System (BCS) Committee at CDER and won the 2011 CDER Leadership Excellence Award.
