Volume 2 of "Juta's Manual of Nursing" provides a framework for the development of competencies in practical skills in nursing practice. This practical manual serves as a companion to Volume 1 which deals with the principles and theory of nursing care, but can also be used in conjunction with any other basic nursing text and in a variety of courses outside of the FNS, GNS and ENA courses. This book begins with an overview of the manual and an explanation of the main features contained in each of the nursing skills, detailing the framework and concepts that are applied throughout the manual. Thereafter, this manual is divided into sections, according to the grouping of the skills.
