Average Rating

Introduction to Spine Surgery: Essentials for ORP, Fellows, and Residents is an excellent reference for the author's target audience. The book is thorough, in terms of content, yet effectively written to make it easy for the practitioner to learn the material quickly. There are many illustrations and excellent detailed photographs of surgeries and imaging studies that help the reader understand the material. I would recommend this book as a good addition to any inpatient physical therapist's library or for an outpatient physical therapist who wants a more intricate knowledge of what his/her patient has experienced prior to being treated in the outpatient clinic.--Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical TherapyThe chapters flow well and there is a pleasing consistency in style throughout. The figures include clinical photographs in colour, X-rays and illustrations. These are of good quality and complement the text well. Each chapter is divided into short, easily digestible sections and the most important messages are highlighted...very easy to read...recommend [ed]...to any unit undertaking spinal surgery.--ANZ Journal of SurgeryI would recommend this book to individuals who are interested in the area of spine surgery. The book is a useful reference for all members of the healthcare team.--Doody's Book Reviews
