Review from previous edition ...this book is an important and well-written contribution to the Oxford Handbooks series, and will prove useful, especially for those pharmacists and students developing skills and knowledge in patient-orientated pharmacy I would thoroughly recommend this text for purchase by students and practising pharmacists alike. For both the newly qualified and the more experienced pharmacist, in hospital or community, this reasonably priced and useful compilation, light in weight but durably bound, should find a home alongside the BNF next to the dispensary phone, in the consultation area, on ward rounds or on visits to care homes.
