Developed at an NHS acute foundation trust, Improving Ward Communication enables ward staff to improve their customer care and team-working skills on the job. No staff release is needed. Improving Ward Communication supports flexible, mentor-led learning for the whole ward team.The learning takes place during normal work activity. It has the potential to improve performance immediately, as staff grow in confidence and ability. No special expertise is needed to use the resource, which is suitable for both UK and overseas staff. (Language development activities are included for overseas staff.)
