The European Society for Immunodeficiencies (ESID) is a non-profit organization establshed in 1983. The society's objectives are to facilitate the exchange of ideas and information among doctors, nurses, biomedical investigators, patients and their families concerned with primary immunodeficiency diseases and also to promote research on causes, mechanisms and treatment of these disorders. It organizes bi-annual scientific meetings.In 2014, the ESID meeting will take place in Prague in the Czech Republic. ESID 2014 will bring together leading scientists and clinicians to share scientific advances in a field of primary immunodeficiencies and related diseases.
