The European Association for Vision and Eye Research (EVER) was founded in Belgium in 1919. It is a non-profit organisation set up to encourage research and the dissemination of knowledge concerning the eye and vision by means of meetings, publications and training as well as the financing, support and subsidizing of projects and people related to the eye and vision in general. The activities of EVER are focused on its annual congress at which knowledge on eye research is disseminated and new projects discussed..In 2014, the EVER Congress will take place in Nice, France.
