The 9th  European Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation (ECCO) Congress will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark in February 2014. It is the major educational event in the field of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD) in Europe. The congress will cover adult and paediatric gastroenterology, hepatobiliary disease, endoscopy, imaging, gastrointestinal surgery related to IBD. The aims are to advance the understanding of digestive disorders, to improve the development of guidelines through the most robust process, to define better and valid outcomes for the therapy of IBD, all to enhance patient care.  The theme of the meeting is:
