Exhibition overview
Building on its reputation as a high quality internationally renowned event, the BAD annual meeting committee has worked hard to provide a blend of new scientific presentations with updates from experts in various fields.The Arthur Rook Oration will be delivered by Professor Masayuki Amagai from Tokyo, Japan.
EADV President, Erwin Tschachler from Austria, will give the first of the guest lectures in the plenary session on Tuesday speaking on Infectious Disease. He will be followed later that afternoon by Professor Robert Modlin from the US speaking on Immunology of Microbial Infection.
Wednesday’s programme features Professor Gunther Hofbaur from Switzerland who will update us on Skin Cancer.
The final guest lecture will come from local Professor Christopher Griffiths who will talk during the CPD session on Thursday afternoon.
Satellite Symposia will take place on Wednesday, with the focus sessions on Thursday lunchtime, featuring topics:
Pregnancy Dermatoses, Ethnic Skin and Scarring and Non-Scarring Hair loss.
Medical Dermatology features strongly in the programme with a dedicated session on Wednesday afternoon.
Professors Catherine Harwood, Sean Whittaker and Charlotte Proby will be presenting at the Professors and Registrars plenary forum on Thursday morning, with the popular CPD session taking place in the Thursday afternoon slot, featuring talks from Catherine Smith, Sara Brown, Dan Creamer and Julia Newton-Bishop.
