Main description:

The Education Portfolio in A3 size (16" x 11") shows charts on the Nervous System and is divided into two sections. Section one illustrates and names all the major nerves in the upper and lower limbs and states where the nerve arises and which muscles each major nerve innervates.On the anterior aspect of the lower limb the lumbar plexus is illustrated whilst on the posterior aspect is the Lumbar and Sacral Plexus. On the anterior aspect of the upper limb is shown the Brachial Plexus and on the posterior aspect is the Cervical and Brachial Plexus.Section two of the Portfolio illustrates the anterior and posterior views of the Cutaneous Nerves. IN each Chart there is a descriptive text of the Dermatome Distribution and this correlates with the colour coded areas of the skin which the nerves supply. On the opposite side of each view is a map of the Cutaneous Nerves which identifies and confirms where the nerve arises.In the revision pages the student has the opportunity to test their knowledge and understanding of this important system of the body by describing where each nerve arises from and which muscle(s) it supplies.
Separate revision pages have been allocated to the Lumbar, Lumbar and Sacral, Brachial and Cervical and Brachial Plexus.This portfolio should be of particular interest to students studying to be Doctors, Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Chiropractors etc.
