MEET THE AUTHOR

Rosie McCarthy is a Senior Lecturer and Professional Lead for Advanced Practice at Liverpool John Moores University, Faculty of Health and Applied Social Sciences. She is a qualified nurse and has worked in Critical care, Nephrology, Acute Medicine, orthopaedics and general surgery. She most recently worked a nurse clinician and still practices part time.
